  4. Review the permissions and click Connect app

Common Issues

Why does the connection fail?

Your HubSpot account may need to be allowlisted for Brief. Contact us at support@briefhq.ai and we'll add your account right away.

Why can't Brief see my contacts?

Make sure the HubSpot user who authorized Brief has access to the CRM objects you're asking about. HubSpot respects per-user permissions — if your user can't see certain contacts in HubSpot, Brief won't see them either.

Why did it connect to the wrong HubSpot account?

You authorized with the wrong HubSpot account. Disconnect in Brief, then reconnect while logged into the correct HubSpot account.
